First, use . wmv codec - wtfpwned quality (bigger files, but at least u can see what is a player char and what is a tree for example). Second, u dont need to turn off FPS marker in fraps - it wont show in the frapsed movie anyway, but helps to check if fraps is running or not. plex does not use quicktime whatsoever. and theres no way its snow leopard. depending on the exact wmv codec said files are using, plex can have issues with playing it. remember that all wmv codecs are proprietary closed formats that everyone other than microsoft has to reverse engineer from scratch to get working. How do you deal with wmv files? myself? burn them at the stake and curse their very existence on this earth.

OK so I'm not sure on the whole double posting on this forum, but I apologize in advance if its a no-no. I got curious and went looking for any info on the asx asf/wma/ wmv codec thing. Now I'm not up with what is open source (and hence could be used in Plex) and what isn't, so tell me if I am making too many assumptions here.
