...not done justice to the book. Of course the film never does justice but i don't think the book did justice to itself, or to my expectations. The book is wrote in a way i have never seen, there are no speech markers or indicators of when someone talks, the main characters are never given a name, they are referred to as man and boy and other minor things like this make for very abstract reading The book is fantastic at charting what humans would do in such situations to survive a nuclear fallout and how some people will go very bad, but the book divorces you from the characters far too much i felt, None the less i would recommend the book and film :) This post has been edited by Pride: 07 March 2010 - 10:37 PM
